Office de tourisme - version anglaise

THE TOURIST OFFICE

The L’Isle-Adam tourist office is housed in an outbuilding in the gardens of the former Petit Hôtel Bergeret which was constructed in 18th century and today houses the Louis Senlecq Art & History Museum.  The outbuilding, which was renovated in 2009, looks out onto an elegant paved courtyard.

The tourist office is open all year round. Opening times are Tuesday to Sunday 10am–1pm and 2pm–6pm (5pm in winter).

The first tourist office in L’Isle-Adam was created to service the many visitors who came to enjoy the famous river beach.

Since then, the tourist office has helped visitors discover the rich cultural and natural heritage of the town through guided visits and cruises on the River Oise - an area which was a source of inspiration for the Impressionist painters.  L’Isle-Adam is described as a ville-parc, literally a ‘‘park-town’’, due to its unique setting and environment and is one of the 100 Plus Beaux Détours de France - the top 100 towns in France to visit.
